New Years Eve and More

The next couple of days were pretty relaxing.  On Sunday Mom made a delicious roast and we rented silly movies.  “American Teen” was a documentary style film about different teenagers in middle America. We also rented ‘The House Bunny’, definitely not Dave’s idea, haha.  Dave and Laura went to an exhibit downtown the next day, and I stayed home and did stuff, and tried to scramble together some new years plans, which so far hadn’t panned out.  It was really cold that day. We didn’t know where we wanted to go out, or what.  Moe and Ryan were doing things with family.  Caroline and Ben decided to stay home at the last minute. Dave, Laura, Pat and I ended up at Casa del Popolo, which was a good, cheap option. We had fun, but it got pretty jammed, and the atmosphere/music weren’t the greatest, as well as waiting for drinks. Laura and I got tired pretty fast, and Patrick bailed early, even though we basically went there because he was staying just above the place!  We ended up leaving. I felt a little bad in retrospect because I think Dave would have stayed longer...all in all, glad to spend New Years with Dave, but wasn’t the best in terms of circumstances!
